Luren, 1948-1957
- 1945-1955: Various members of the chorus serve as directors.
- 1953: Luren hosts the 5th Biennial Sangerfest of the Northwest Division of NSAA. Eight male choruses come to Decorah from three states.
- 1955-1957: Kathryn Ulvilden, a member of the Luther College music faculty, serves as director of Luren.
- 1957-1958: Luren is directed by Ivan Kortkamp, director of the Decorah High School Chorus
